Rodrick Owen coming in October 2012

Two years ago Makiko Tada graciously took Rodrick Owen's place at our Kumihimo Festival while Rodrick remained in England to celebrate his birthday
with his family at their request.
We had a wonderful time with Makiko who won us all over to the use of her ingenious round and square disks and her boundless energy and enthusiasm.

Rodrick Owen had scheduled to come back and be with us last year but due to a bad fall he was unable to join us. Six members of the class came anyway and we spent a very pleasant and productive time together braiding.

It is now certain that Rodrick is going to be able to join us this year in October. This year's Kumihimo Festival workshop is now scheduled for: October 8 - 12.
