Rodrick Owen returned to Fort Bragg this year in October. He taught a very enthusiastic group who ranged from complete beginners to highly advanced. This, of course is always the joy of having Rodrick here with us. He can handle everything that comes along. So, after an undoubtedly tiring first day he is always ready to help each student continue the path of their individual Kumihimo adventure.

He gave his first Power Point lecture here and an entire part of the Wollenberg's living room wall becaue a screen illustrating his fascinating lecture.

Rodrick has just notified us that he will not be able to join us in the Fall of 2010 so check out this page in the near future for how we intend to proceed. We will certainly miss having him here with us in 2010. There will soon be pictures from our 2009 event shown here also.

Makiko Tada has just told us that she will be able to come this one year to substitute for Rodrick. We're very happy to announce that she will be coming to Fort Bragg in November 2010. More news when we have the exact dates. Members from the northern area of California will have priority for joining the class until May 20. After that it will be open to the general public. If you are out of this area, we will be happy to put you on a first come, first serve list for after thee 20th.

UPDATE

The class with Makiko Tada is filled now, but we are taking names for a waiting list just in case there is a cancellation.
