Explore the creative potential of the reusable gel printing plate. Use purchased or handmade tools and found objects to build up layers and experiment with resists, stencils and ghosts while creating unique prints or background images for further embellishment.  Investigate the infinite possibilities using a variety of acrylic based paints and inks. Focusing on working with paper as opposed to textiles, this process is fun and fast with endless possibility.

Lisa Grey has been a full time studio artist for close to 40 years. She has led workshop in multiple dyeing, printmaking, and creative sewing techniques in the US and abroad. Her teaching approach focuses on combining technical proficiency with creative spontaneity and includes a hefty dose of play.

Lisa will give a talk on Friday May 10, 7 pm, free to PTArts members and students in any of the classes. All who are interested are welcome to come. Donations appreciated.
