Create sophisticated multi-dimensional batik layers with soy wax, an environmentally friendly medium that can be washed out with hot water. First use brushes, metal and found objects to paint and stamp onto paper or cloth with hot wax. Acrylic paints are then applied and dried before exploring adding further layers of wax and paint to create dynamic patterns for use in collage, mixed media work and quilts.

Lisa Grey has been a full time studio artist for close to 40 years.  She has led workshop in multiple dyeing, printmaking, and creative sewing techniques in the US and abroad.
