Remembering TAP !

tap-rememberedIn Fall 0f 1976, the Mendocino Art Center launched its Textile Apprenticeship Program, an intensive immersion in the art, craft, and business of textiles. The program thrived until 1991.

To observe the 40th Anniversary of the Program’s beginning, the work of 20 former apprentices (rugs, tapestries, wearable art, & more) will be shown concurrently in Pacific Textile Arts’ and Mendocino Art Center’s Galleries during the month of November.

PTArts’ show opens  THIS FRIDAY  Nov. 4, 5-8:00 (until Nov. 28)
MAC’s exhibit opens Nov. 12, 5-8:00 (until Nov. 22)
