Open studio with mickie mccormic

Drop-in open studio gatherings on first and third Sunday afternoons from 1:30 to 4:00, beginning in March 2023. Most will be held in the Pacific Textile Arts classroom, and we welcome anyone interested in making textile art to these informal get-togethers. Your interests can be (but are not limited to) knitting, surface design, doll making, embroidery and mending, quilting, kumihimo, basketry, paper arts, and felting, Occasionally there will be special sessions, announced in advance, with opportunities to try something new that volunteers will prepare and provide materials for – like marbling, felting, or dyeing. You can bring whatever portable projects you are working on, see what others are doing, and share your work and ideas with like-minded people.

Open studios don’t require registration or fees, although small donations for utilities are welcome.
