Class Title: Dare to Repair: Darn Your Woolens
Saturday, November 1st
10:00 am -12:00 pm
Pacific Textile Arts Classroom
Reservations are required. This FREE class is for people ages 10 and up. All children must be
accompanied by an adult.
Give your favorite wool garments a second life! We will focus on visible and invisible darning
techniques. Learn how to repair holes, worn spots, and thinning areas in sweaters, socks, and
other wool items using simple tools and time-honored methods.
This class emphasizes both function and care—helping you extend the life of your garments
while reducing textile waste. All materials and tools will be provided, but you’re encouraged to
bring a wool item in need of repair.
These free workshops are generously supported by a grant from the Community Foundation of Mendocino County.
