This exhibit of contemporary mixed media textiles features work related to a solitary artist’s residency at a location on the Puget Sound on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. Being immersed in the solitude of the great forests of Western Redcedar and Big Leaf Maple while learning more about the indigenous people of that area had a profound effect on my creativity.
