Weave a sample of a weft-faced wool rug in plain weave. Learn my hemming technique, including how to weave in your initials and the year woven. Students will choose one main color and see how it appears different next to other colors. We will also explore the Fibonacci formula to design stripes of pleasing proportions. Card woven selvedges will be optional. I will furnish 8/5 linen rug warp and wool weft.
