Sat. Feb 22: PTArts Program 19th Century Knitted Lace

Suzanne da Rosa is a master lace knitter and has been involved in ahistorical study of Shetland fine lace knitting. She has knit samples and garments for the Shetland Museum and Archives and test knits for well known designers from Europe. She is currently exploring 19th century knitting manuals and recreating the earliest lace stitches. She is currently artist in residence at the Mendocino art center.
Should be a very interesting program.

PTArts members and guests welcome.  Donations from guests always welcome.
